Fedi meta, dumb interaction I received@star I mean, agreed that the industrial revolution exploited a lot of people, no question. Would have been good to oppose that, yeah. Would be good to get rid of capitalism, probably yeah.
But that "we'd have all been better off" if the industrial revolution wasn't allowed to happen? That's such a shallow take, come on... I and many others would not be alive today without modern medicine and other technology for example. (Not intending to justify anything, but that we'd have been better off is just not black-and-white absolutely true.)
