The start page has had the content on it thoroughly overhauled to be heaps more informative about the project, its goals, the protocols' features and its use cases. Do let us know what you think!
@hsza Interesting, thank you for your feedback! Would you care to share some of the passages you didn't like in particular? I am really not a good writer for things like these, and part of the reason why the start page has been very... minimal until now, has been exactly "I don't know how to write stuff and I am not sure I can do a good job", so precise feedback would be much appreciated!
@polyproto its mostly just, the "modern" look of the site, how it opens with a vague tagline in a big font, and after that a couple more design choices that are typical of corpo sites, like the grids of info cards. i dont really know how to fix those ick points, and its not your fault nor a big issue, since i know in this case the underlying project is trustworthy :3 the information is laid out well ultimately
@hsza I do think I see what you mean. I just wonder; how much of this is the writing or the website in particular, and how much is just... well, trying to introduce and convince people of a thing.
But of course, it could have likely been done much more playfully if done by an individual who knows stuff about UI/UX design and communication in general. But maybe that's what we will have with the next refresh!
@freeplay Actually, yes, sort of! I only intended to stretch this vowel out for fun and as a vocal stim, but then I actually thought of you, and realized that this would then be a reference to you; so yes, it is canon!
