Talking about nudity and shame I think that realistically, nudity and/or presenting oneself nude and/or lewdly should not have any shame associated with it from a societal perspective. Our bodies, shells, chassis, are the most natural things on this planet. No one should shame you for showing your most natural qualities and features of the shell you happen to possess. That is just dumb, stupid, regressive and overall not a productive concept.

Individual shame, however, is a whole different thing. If you in particular feel ashamed about your physical form, then that is an absolutely valid emotion, and not at all part of what I am trying to express here. Talking about nudity and shame This is also a reason behind why I am posting so many of my nudes publicly. If a potential employer would find them and disqualify me based on the existence of this media, then so be it. I am not going to bend myself to fit the system and its arbitrary rules and expectations any longer in ways that do not make sense to me. That has been the single source of unhappiness for me throughout my entire life, and I am done with it. If there are consequences, then so be it.

If we really were all natural, most of us would be dead for one reason or another. A simple bacterial infection without antibiotic intervention. blobCatGooglyEyesNotLikeThis

@sin Yeah, well, we humans are just nature, but what we create through the idioms a lot of us live by as a whole is not, largely. But that is a whole different can of worms involving greed and economic theory, inequality, all of these diseased factors. But the individual in it's physical form? It just is. Even modifying your looks and form is some form of individualism and self-expression when seen in a cosmetic sense.

And I would also disagree with the fact that medicine is unnatural. Sure, we have advanced it a lot, but we are not the only species to tend to wounds or illnesses with the help of external ingredients

On a more serious note: I think it's actually difficult to draw a reasonable line on the question of "what is natural".

One could argue that everything contained in our universe, is by definition, natural.

It's not my place to try to define things here or to draw lines.

The question of whether anything has any non-objective property is not easy to answer. But you can approximate an answer by crafting a moral compass of values, axioms, and other things you believe to be true and good, and then using it to navigate the world neocat__w_
