There is now a motion (by 2 people) to ban me from C3D2 due to "antisemitism", because of the post I made 2 days ago where I found it funny that "We stand with Israel" has been replaced with "Death to the IDF" on a whiteboard.

One of those people has actively bypassed me blocking them 2x, first by messaging me on Matrix after I blocked them on Fedi, and then by using a different account in that Matrix Chatroom After I blocked them on Matrix. Both of the people involved are cisgender men btw neocat_up

@specificprotagonist Queer people are, as far as my personal observation goes, currently not particularly well considered, represented, or well treated within C3D2. As far as I am aware, the fact that this bi-monthly event even exists has been a HUGE fight, and keeping it alive is also a considerable effort when working against people who'd like to make it go away. Hackerspaces should be queer-native territory. But I personally am afraid that it will take a lot more effort to make this particular space ours again.

The queer invasion was successful at . I met lots of very nice people, chatted about very interesting topics and fluffed a lot of cozy creatures. I especially liked the opening round where everyone who felt comfortable with doing so shared a little bit about themselves, which, imo, made it much easier to connect with new people. espeon_love
