How is it that Strauss’s sizing is SO OFF??

Size 44 pants, normally, would mean 44 inches around the waist. Their sizing chart actually reflects this too.

These Size 44 pants are 29 inches (+/- 1 inch). They are off by 10 fucking inches lol. This is size 28-29 (they stretch a bit around the waist to accomodate for kneeling and confractor belly)

How is their sizing chart THIS FAR OFF?
