I still don't quite know what to do, now weeks after being threatened with violence by one person from my local hackerspace.

I am genuinely scared that they'll wait for me around a corner somewhere and then do bad things to me. And so far, it seems like the majority of other people at this space don't give a shit. That person is still there at that space and hasn't had to face any consequences for neither these threats, not the smear campaign against me which they participated in.

And I don't know what to do. I don't really know where to go, or who to talk to about this in a way that will actually help at all. I feel lost and powerless. Maybe, this is just how transfemmes are treated in this space.

@desea @lunareclipse ok, i actually managed to fix this myself. i had to fiddle around with it a little, because apparently i cannot use "window" to perform a media query, because this is supposed to be a static page, and I guess that "window" wouldn't work in such a context? anyways, thankfully someone made a library for exactly this, which works for static pages! and the css to stop the fade-in was luckily also quite easy, thanks to MDN docs. the fix should already be live now. again, thank you for notifying me of this

To me, an individual working on such a protocol, the humor comes from the contrast of "it's not much, right? just x, y and z", and x, y and z actually being very intricate and involved things to figure out and implement in a good way. I, for one, have been working on my version of how to do cross-server auth and message sending + profile management for over 2 years now. And again, this was meant to be lighthearted, not to offend. I am quite sad to see that accessibility seems to be lacking in a bunch of areas, for which fixes already had to get made, either through myself, or by crowd-sourcing them. Bweh. :( I'll make it an issue, and see what I can do about it to address it in a timely manner
