personal opinion, AI and the resulting crossfire, thinking out loud I feel sort of pushed around by this style of debate where the burden of AI usage in a random project is pushed onto the users, and people get criticized (directly or indirectly) for using FOSS software which now uses AI in its development.

I don't really have the spoons to analyze the entire suite of software I use for AI usage, find alternatives, let alone migrate there! And on that note: Migrate where? To the fork managed by one person alone, with no governance or anything? It's becoming exhausting to me, personally. I have my little toolbox of things that work for me, and the AI usage saddens me as much as it makes me angry, too!

And I am not saying that we should just accept it (ai usage) silently, ignore it or anything; actually, I am not saying much, other than "this is how I personally feel"
