social stuff! ~ (+-)
I really enjoy flirting! It's a great way to do the social "dogs sniffing each others butts" thing of finding out a lot about how the other individual(s) practice... consent, taking compliments, thoughtfulness, humor and all these other social skills that make me, personally, feel comfortable with someone. And its not just a way for me to learn to get comfortable with the other individual(s), but at the same time, it is a very fun and overall enjoyable experience, much unlike what <social interactions to find out how other individual deals with consent, [...]> are usually like.Thus, I dearly hope that when I do flirt with people, it gets interpreted as what I intend it to be; a genuine interest towards you, the individual I am flirting with, and a desire to get to know you better and to become comfortable with you, in order to hopefully turn our relationship into something more of a friendship. It is not a way for me to look for sex or shit like that. It is quite rare that I actually desire to have sex with anyone, and feeling extremely comfortable with a given individual is very much a precondition to getting there.
In the end, there's nothing on this blue-green-reddish earth that I am happier about than a long-term, healthy, positive relationship, and I hope that it comes across. Social stuff is... hard!
