Does anyone I know host an instance of one of the following fedi servers (or can recommend an open-signup one)? I could use a test account on each one to test my API client for compatibility. Ideally with split-domain setup, if supported. ​coweat​

- Sharkey, Iceshrimp.JS (or other Misskey flavors)
- GoToSocial
- Pleroma, Akkoma
- Friendica
- Pixelfed, Loops
- ... others I may have missed, except Mastodon, Iceshrimp.NET and Wafrn :)

wafrn does not have split domain setup. https://app.wafrn.net only requires you to not use a vpn on registration


also: mastoapi on our side is far from done (search not done yet)

@gabboman yep I know, but it's fine, all I need is mastodon-like oauth and /api/v1/accounts/verify_credentials, which all works totally fine with wafrn in my testing ^^

Perhaps Pixelfed or other fediverse services might be worth exploring as well?

It's supposed to be similar to tumblr.

True, Pixelfed and Loops come to mind. Ideally I'd like to test any server implementation that implements oauth, and support it if it's not a hassle.

@fugi Our Mastodon/glitch-soc server is oauth only. Unfortunately I don’t think I can provide you with credentials that easily 😅

If you do have something for me to test on my end, I can do that tho ^ ^

@murphycoffee I'd expect glitch-soc not to be relevantly different than Mastodon, which I mainly target anyway (lots of stuff implements mastodon-compatible APIs) :)

End user testing will likely commence once I am healthy again and am in the mood to grind Celeste with people watching :p
