I wonder if people who much prefer carbonated water over still water have ever had actually good tasting still water e.g. straight from a natural spring? Because a lot of bottled and tap water tastes ASS.

IMO there's nothing more refreshing than good still water, and carbonation kinda ruins it for me. And there is (rarely) bottled water that tastes great (Bad Liebenwerda meine Perle), and tap water depends on the region, piping and a lot of stuff.

But yeah, I'd be genuinely curious.

@fugi yeah but i don't have a natural spring at home. its a matter of logistics. So i prefer either carbonated from the store or tap water with some syrup.

And yeah, most brands of bottled water (carbonated or not) taste shit, i think it has something to do with the bottling itself.

@Nero I can recommend to give Bad Liebenwerda's still water a try, it's the best bottled water I've tried and rivals the tap water my parents have in their village ^^

@Nero @fugi i have had water directly from mountain springs, which is common where i grew up, and it tastes no different from non-chlorinated non-copper-pipe tapwater

I did and when I have to choose between both I definitifly would prefer still water, but sparkling water generally has a higher "floor" so to speak, so I prefer it in everyday. ( I normally also carbonate my Tap Water instead of buying bottled one and I actually prefer Medium, if I have to get bottled one)
