"I like you": feels awkward to say to me
"I love you": great but pretty huge leap, not an option for saying to anyone still
"love you": I know there's apparently a pretty big difference between with and without "I", but at least to me as a non native speaker it feels not that different

@fugi I've found saying something like "I enjoy spending time with you" or "you're fun/comfy to be around" is a great way to express this
