What should I use to create the slides for my talk? Last time I did them using but I spent too much time fiddling with the layout and this time I'd rather just write them in Markdown and just have a simple layout.

I'm not set on the markdown, if you have a cool project one can create slides in please tell me. Also send projects for markdown slides.

@knievelcat for an inhouse presentation at work I once used 'mdp', which is nice but a bit basic (does not support images afaik)

but there is a very similar, more advanced markdown cli presentation tool which looks pretty interesting:

Things I'm missing there: table of contents and dynamic slide contents.

sli.dev has some nice features, but for me it is sometimes a bit unintuitive and too web-app heavy. Runs ok in docker at least.
