fedi is the first and only social media I actively participate in, and the reason is that it feels more like a (public) group chat or something like that, instead of typical social media. I don't want to have lots of followers, or have a bigger reach than my comfy little bubble, or feel like I'm speaking on a stage instead of chatting on a hallway. Because that's what makes it enjoyable for me, it would suck otherwise.
