@polyproto i havent used discord since around 2021
i personally prefer the dm/gc centric approach of xmpp/matrix (the platforms ive used) where you do all organization on the client side, without the gamification/numbers-go-up aspects that discord has

@laru The beauty of having an open protocol is that it allows for many interpretations of it. I can certainly imagine that there'll, at some point, be clients that match exactly what you want neocat_floof_cute
