i can absolutely understand not wanting to listen to him for that reason though! it's just, if the "severity" of the problematicness is low enough to me, i just ignore it. i like to listen to rap music and if i only ever listened to artists that have never been problematic ever i'd strike so much of the catalogue

in 2018 he got heated and tweeted something pretty transphobic although it is plausible that it wasn't his intention, which he deleted and apologized for. i don't remember any statement involving sports. in 2024 he made a post in support of queer people, maga got all up in his comments and he explicitly supported trans rights in clapbacks against them.
