currently, when sending a message, there is a 2% chance of you pooping your pants uncontrollably. luckily, there is MSC7896r435267892354r46789, which will make it so that the chance is only a modest 1.2%. it will require an entire rewrite of all of your clients and home servers, but don't worry about it, because it has been stuck in review since the late 1800s, though we hope it'll get merged sometime in 2035.

edit: you will also keep having to support the old pant-shitting behavior for legacy clients which might still be around

(this is observable when you join a group and someone replies to a message that was sent before you joined, you can see the message text. minor leak)

please also be mindful of float parsing. if your language does it incorrectly and accidentally makes the 1.2% chance into a 1.199999998% chance, your messages will be completely unreadable to anyone else and your home server is instantly evaporated by an orbital laser.
