psych wards, abuse mentioned, suicide@star@Ravenize ive been through psych wards through literally my whole childhood. i literally did not live w/ my family and went from ward to ward from when i was 8 - 14. it deeply traumatized and broke me so fucking bad, and i got abused in extremely horrible fucking ways. getting someone forcefully warded will only ever bring them closer to death in the long term, and will also get them to lose any and all trust in u. it super cruel to put someone already suffering through that shit.
it is also cruel and selfish as fuck in my opinion to force someone who has already made their own final decision to stay alive through literal state violence. if u want them to not kill themselves offer them care and support and love, and sometimes u just gotta accept that theres nothing u can do. its rlly sad and it sucks and is horrible, but forcing the cops on someone deeply suffering to get them locked up in a prison for mentally ill ppl for a night will not make anytjing better.
