i was reflecting earlier today about how i did not learn anything in college about computers. i took one webdev class that taught me literally nothing, not a single thing that i didn't already learn from a html self-help book from the early 00s. it was the 2010s. absolutely useless.
and i thought long and hard about going into computer science, instead of photography or graphic design or illustration. but i thought about the misogyny i was already experiencing from nerds and existing as outwardly queer in a newly-post-gamergate world. and i thought. no... that's ok, actually.
now i feel like i am decades behind everyone else, with this massive experience and knowledge gap. and i still feel very stupid lol. fuckin, tearing up every time i have to troubleshoot a python application because the docs assume you know how to Write python (i don't) (at all)
