Transphobia, documents, name change Got one of my last pieces of official documents signed over to my new name today - in the stupidest way possible. They put a line through my deadname and then wrote my new name above, and a stamp next to it. It looks super janky, to the point where they said "don't worry, if police question it, they can contact us and we'll confirm it's legit".
I was like "this makes me a target".
They say I have to pay 100€ for a whole new document or go fuck myself then...

Transphobia, documents, name change (2) @fugi @Infoseepage I've emailed them. Since I already stated my concerns and have the legal backing, maybe they will cave in without a fight. I mean, they made the document a felony...
Also thanks @fugi for pointing out that's a thing, I didn't know there was legal backing for that.
