holy shit zsh finally managed to make a (minor) release after FOUR YEARS lmao can you believe it

It includes the fix (committed to master in 2024 after I poked their mailing list a few times) for rsync remote file completions, which had been broken for six fucking years. Finally I can drop my own patch I've been carrying since 2023 :3

@fugi @stellavie What I really dislike about fish is that it sort of doesn't work with bash scripts, but then also is not enough enhancement/change to make it really attractive to me. I then prefer the approach of something like nushell, which is very forward about being bash-incompatible to introduce a whole new way of doing shell

@star @stellavie does it matter tho? as long as the scripts have shebangs it should be totally fine

I don't execute any bash scripts with zsh either (even if it should work), they are written for bash and get executed by bash

@hsza @stellavie @fugi oh and to be clear, i use zsh with p10k myself, since that does all i need it to. i do kind of want something alternative, but nushell isn't quite for me because the governance isn't really what i want to see for a project that i want to be stable

@star @stellavie @fugi @hsza fwiw it's not like nushell is like. mandatory or something. I don't think the point of "I need a usable system" works if you have a Perfectly Fine and Working Shell
