@star + the fact that they "fake" the boot process by hiding some boot stages before UEFI ever loads and you can't replace the firmware on them at all because the firmware is signed

@fries or maybe a more open rockchip powered laptop/tablet where you can boot a OS without dismantling it (only a SD card needed)
