Because of this, I practically never open any YouTube links shared on fedi for example. I can't tell what it's about without clicking on it, getting redirected to the YouTube app and having some video instantly autoplay. (Or, if I would have ads on YT, get thrown some full screen autoplaying ad in my face that I have to click away.)
If you're sharing some YouTube video on here (or anything else that one can't immediately tell in some way what it's about), I would personally really appreciate if you took the moment to copy paste the title, or maybe even add a short sentence why you're sharing it. ​​​
​​​ (Or don't, it's completely up to you and I'm not mad about it either. Just keep in mind that less people might view what you want to share. And particularly on fedi, keep in mind that even if you see a link preview, others may not.)
