:boost_requested: vent, c3d2 pissheads, chaos chaos computer club dresden, where repeatedly re-affirming your threats of actual violence against a visibly trans individual is being "excellent to another" 🔥🔥🔥🔥

but no one who in any position to do so gives enough of a shit to actually do something about it and show the offender any sort of consequence

Threats of violence. Conflict within a group. @star I don’t mean to downplay what happened at all! The claim that no one is doing anything really hits close to home for me. One of our board members is trans, and the board is working closely and trustingly. There are problems, but there are people at C3D2 who care about this. Please excuse my self-centered perspective; I simply don’t want to be lumped together with behaviors that I’ve been speaking out against and moderating for years, without resorting to authoritarian measures. I don't want that either, on behalf of those who care about this as well. Such an authoritarian behavior would run counter to the C3D2’s core values in the same way the problems are against those core values. The people who make up the C3D2 must work together to solve these problems.

Threats of violence. Conflict within a group. @t3sserakt [This is only a partial response, a full, proper response might come later]
I disagree in the sense that the Unvereinbarkeitserklärung loses all meaning if it isn't being sufficiently upheld. It has become abundantly clear—to me, and to many others who have been independently observing the events as they unfolded—that overall, the C3D2 is not a safe place to be for members of one or more vulnerable communities.

I can most definitely empathize with what you are expressing; that this hits close to home for you, and that the original post risks lumping you, as a board member, together with other individuals. I absolutely see that you are trying hard to fight the metaphorical fires and work towards the C3D2 being a friendly and respectful environment. And I am genuinely grateful for all of your contributions to this cause, as they have been constructive and sometimes even the only thing that stopped a situation from escalating further. Thank you for that.

But at the same time, I feel that there is a problem here that cannot be solved by talking it out or letting it go away. The sheer amount of bad-faith misrepresentations and spreading of villainizing misinformation about me and the QueerFem group at large, to me, cannot be explained through these individuals having a reasonable problem with me or us that can solved through constructive dialogue.

This is, without a doubt targeted harassment fueled by some bizarre form of hatred. And I simply
cannot help but point out that, in my honest opinion, not nearly enough has happened to combat this.

Threats of violence. Conflict within a group. @t3sserakt (This has turned out to actually become a full response despite what I wrote when I started writing this)
