my position aligns with yours in that the ussr was authoritarian, imperialist and caused unimaginable suffering during its existence

I don't need benefit of the doubt, I am not talking about myself, and I am not friends with or interacting positively with anyone who would firmly hold a different opinion

The only real thing I was trying to say is that WHILE I AGREE that representing the ussr through using its symbolism is dumb and harmful and bad, I am not sure that everyone using this symbol is aware of it and could likely easily be convinced to the facts which align with our opinion on the matter

and you say that ignorance is not your problem and that you don't owe anyone education. And that's totally fair, I am not trying to tell you how to use your free time, other than that it would probably better be spent with literally anything different than having a probably emotionally exhausting conversation with someone who doesn't even disagree with you (this is a PERFECT template for you to block me)

anyways, I apologize for getting emotional about this towards you and idk whether we understand each other or what the other person is trying to say at all, but tldr death to the tankie ideology and I wish everyone in it that they at some point in their life realize how much hurt they've done and that they're devastated about it. and that they'll change

@mira i say i agree with you because i agree with you. i'm not being facetious or pretending to hold a position i do not. what good would that even do

it's your best right to have a disdain for anyone using that symbol, and to block them because you hate seeing it. the only part i disagree with is extreme generalization and oversimplification, especially together with a call to action. that's what the original response was supposed to mean anyway
