@Quz the thing is, there could come any kind of other reason in the future why it might not be a good time to start at that time. As it is for a lot of things, be it transitioning or relationships or ...Sometimes the best time is now, because there might not come a better suited time at all, or by the time it comes you might regret not having done it earlier.
Just keep that in mind in your considerations (which are completely valid, and in the end it's only up to you) :)
