Today, after having phrased it this way for 6 months, Nostr (federation protocol project) changed their website from saying"Nostr is an apolitical communication commons"to
"Nostr is an inclusive communication commons"about 2h after I complained on lobste.rs about this making me not interested in the project. This was in a thread about polyproto, which is my own federation protocol.
About 1h after this change was made, someone actively involved in Nostr since 2022 asked me:
Where did you read "apolitical"?, which feels strange, given the fact that that person must have seen Nostr's website in the past 6 months, and this phrase was in the Sub-title to the websites' huge headline.
