mh-, medication i'll up my antidepressants to the prescribed 375mg again. i tried going down to 337.5mg very slowly because i have already been on antidepressants for 3 years now, but it's clearly not working out. i don't want to be dependent on antidepressants my whole life, and i feel kind of grim about the fact that i am just barely stable with the absolute highest dosis of venlafaxine, and that even that may not be enough at times neocat_sad

mh-, medication @star you got any other medication helping you? I.e. Methylphenidate or Lisdex-Amphetamine for increasing Dopamine?

A Friend with AuDHD switched to Atomoxine (NRI, no Serotonin-inhibitors) because it was mainly for the "kick in the butt"..

So maybe you had to increase the dosage because of the N of SNRI.

Serotonin-syndrome is real and therefore there are limits on the S-Part of SNRI..

Could be that starting/increasing N-only and decreasing SN in the meantime could help.

mh-, medication @nicolewd Thank you nicole, you truly are a precious bean neocat_heart neodog_hug_heart I have my psychiatrist appt. in a couple of days and there, I'll try to get mph prescribed. That has been working out pretty well the couple of weeks I got to try it out (also helped with depression due to dysfunction), and I hope that that already makes a big difference.
