Codeberg has a very healthy and broad membership base so to imply that there is no or little accountability is just wrong given for how long this org has already existed and improved not just itself but the projects within and the community around it as well

@hsza @Cyborus I too brought this up in the Matrix chat today, and I now more empathize with their desire to keep some things org-internal, i.e. "members only". That doesn't mean members cannot talk about it publicly, but I think it makes sense to have a space that is a little protected from what outsiders may (sometimes purposefully) misunderstand

@sodiboo @2something I am unsure but don't the "used resources" refer to Codebergs resources in this instance? That doesn't necessarily change by using AI. Regardless, I think finding loopholes is the wrong move anyway. I would ideally like it that Codeberg forbids projects using generative AI to write/contribute code from the platform, then we don't even need to hinge on this

@hsza @Cyborus Codeberg e.V. is a democratically structured organization, and actually one of the votes on the next annual assembly (in less than a month) would be "Vote to add a paragraph to Terms of Use about prohibiting vibe-coded projects". So, now is a good time to consider joining the organization and then using your right to have a say in how things should be done!
