awa@star ig kinda (i used it in a miniscule amount mostly due to exgf's suggestions, for barely using it back then, it was ok)
tho at least atproto itself isn't as bad (i will lament activitypub's short-sighted overreliance on dns as the absolute & persistent authority til the rest of my days)
@star@femsci literally butt, yes, figuratively, not really, imo it was quite decent during the invite-only era and I think it's still not really bad, tho it is inherently Very Public, with no actual access controls (like fundamentally not possible, lol, the best you can do is not notify other people of your posts, and block them on your side, but it's still trivial to get post content, and you can't even make them unfollow you afaik), so it is very different from fedi in that sense but there's still plenty fun people there, and plenty corners that are fine, and you can make custom feeds to filter out most of the stupid stuff
