I really wish there wasn’t so much stigma about a naked body, ESPECIALLY femme bodies, being seen as sexual by default when you remove clothing.

Naked bodies are just that, people’s bodies. The taboo is beyond asinine but also it’s been stigmatized as a means of control and I understand the root of that issue. But anything I could help dispel those negative stigmas, I’d gladly help with that.

Clothes are uncomfy for me 95% of the time. I’d rather wear nothing. That shouldn’t be stigmatized.

hot take? "rape" mentioned @star honestly I believe you’re right about that. Especially since putting this notion that femme/women’s bodies are by default, sexual, it is a means of control on top of that.

It’s why I see nudism more than just a comfort choice, but it’s defiant in the face of the social norms in place. A woman’s body, whether trans/non binary or cis, shouldn’t be seen as taboo unless covered and stowed away. A naked woman’s body is just that, somebody’s body.

It’s why I say normalize casual nudity amongst friends.

If a woman, trans/non binary or otherwise wants to be naked in casual, social settings… so what? It’s their bodies. It’s not affecting anyone, it’s none of anybody else’s business. Look away, it’s that easy.

Nudism is defiance.

at least in Germany it's normal for a sauna to be without clothes except for maybe some hotel saunas, but even then quite often not,,

It's when wearing outfits that have the "intention" of being alluring, seductive, suggestive or otherwise that I melt. A great outfit will make me melt 10x faster than someone being naked

though my point is less about bringing attention and more about nudism as a preference to one's comfort and presentation. I'm not doing that to razzle others, I'm doing it because I find clothes uncomfy and would rather do without.

re: hot take? "rape" mentioned @Russell @star I think I understand and I'm agreeing. My brain was off on a tangent as a way to say a naked body should be downright boring. It should be a nothing event. Like was mentioned about nudism being normal even in social settings. It shouldnt have erotic or any other taboos assigned to it as a neutral act that people may or may not choose for comfort. Like wearing short or pants is a choice of comfort. The point my brain was on was striking out the difference by a body being the thing we live in so it being neutral versus choice of clothing being an intention generally. Or a specific hairstyle or whatever. Those should be the things that elicit reactions, as those are the things the person means to express something often times. Versus a body which we don't really have that much choice over.

I'm rambling again... Hopefully that helped clear up what I was trying to get at though

the only disagreement is nudity being boring, but that's all preferences. From my perspective clothing hides the loveliness that is our bodies. It's apart of the empowering and liberating feeling nudism can give, IMO. Here's my body, I love my body and I don't need to hide it.
