if you don't want to risk them being asses about it i would indeed take it off to pass thru. that's what i do to not look like a dork uncollaring myself in front of the border police (was LCA). schiphol i passed thru a mmwave scanner 2026-04, not metal detectors. sorry i don't have more data for you
