PSA using anubis fucks over people with slower machines
so today i got stopped by an Anubis challenge again, difficulty 5. normally i'd give it about 15 seconds then decide i didn't care enough, but today i thought "no, let's let it run".eighty two seconds.
i was staring at a catgirl for ONE MINUTE AND TWENTY TWO SECONDS.
(and yes, of course i had lost both interest and context by the time i got to see what i'd clicked on.)
please think about that, if the idea of using anubis appeals to you. because that is fucking unacceptable and hostile to the very people it's supposed to be protecting your site for.
also consider that anubis welcomes AI contributions, and think about that vs its stated purpose. are you sure that pile of hypocrisy is the solution you want?
