the like button is such a meaningless signal. its just "i send you dopamine".. things it means for me:
- i feel for ya, hope you get better soon
- love your post
- this is important
- i agree with you and would like to communicate that
- you are making sense to me and i can understand you

and now its impossible for me to comprehend what is actually happening with the person, but it takes up the space that could've been used for a quick comment that actually has nutritional content
