I haven't found a Linux kernel for the frame yet. Can any of the reviewers that have received a unit request the kernel source please? I'm really interested in what it looks like, i.e. how much qcom downstream code is in there.

Looks like ThrillSeeker ran fastfetch on it. 6.18 kernel so probably not close to mainline. Also the SOC is called SM8650. Very cool
fastfetch on a terminal running on the steam frame headset. OS: SteamOS aarch64 Host: SM8650 MP rev1 4slam 2et Kernel: Linux 6.18.0

@knievelcat SM8650 has had mainline support since 6.6 so i don't know why you think it being the latest LTS precludes that (also per a Qualcomm engineer on here it has SVE enabled, which was broken/fused off on previous SM8650 hardware)

@knievelcat the kernel they're using is probably in the equivalent of steamdeck-packages.steamos.cloud/archlinux-mirror/sources/jupiter-main/ but my efforts at URL guessing failed (found a reference to archlinux-deckard instead of archlinux-mirror but that seems outdated)
