ranting about FOSS @star if i tried to do anything about it i would have to fight so many people disagreeing with every single change that i would just give up entirely

i have stopped reporting issues or fixing bugs or getting involved in FOSS years ago, because both the "patches welcome" attitude where you should fix your own bugs even when you know absolutely nothing about it, and the extreme resistance to any change and constant debates have completely killed any motivation i might have

if i ever do anything about it, no one will ever hear about it, i will keep all of my work to myself, i won't even push a fork or anything
