so just doing some really rough numbers.. climate lag is 20-30 years, we call that 25. that means we're experiencing shit from up to 2001's emissions. since then the graph has done this for co2 emissions: ourworldindata.org/grapher/annual-co2-emissions-per-country?country=~OWID_WRL&tab=linethen we have a fair ways to go if we assume that the planet is a linear function mapping co2 to temperature(sst). it probably isn't. but see bsky.app/profile/climateofgavin.bsky.social/post/3msw2bo5wxs2j
