@hypha I find everything over 700ml to be impractical to carry. Something made out of glass or metal and insulated won't leech nasty chemicals and would last you a long long time :3

@hypha I'd say start with one, see how much you actually use it, see, whether the capacity is actually too small for home, and when you know that that's actually the case, consider buying the bigger one :3
