Hot take, perhaps: I think the EU law for "it has to be declared, when a piece of media was made with AI" sucks, the way it was made.There is no mandate on how visible this lable has to be: often in ads, you see that disclaimer as small light gray text on white background, which sucks for many reasons. and then also, it is extremely coarsely grained. YouTube just hit me with the following notice under a video:
"Audio or visual content was altered or entirely generated using AI"Great, man. That doesn't tell me jack. Was that label added by the creator or by YouTube? If it was added by YouTube, how did they reach this conclusion? I saw this label and am now just much more confused than I was before. That's so stupid.
