I want justice for Isabel Fall, I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter is an amazing piece of literature and is —aside from the maybe unfortunate name, not a transphobic piece of text. Fall is trans herself, for fuck's sake, and the piece is in my optics a typical work of a transfemme who is deeply traumatised by a transphobic and patriarchal society. Please read past the title, folks.

I too am a trans woman with a particular interest in aircraft used for warfare, who is deeply traumatised by the patriarchy. I relate a lot to it.

WARHOUND girlies, please do read it, it's not kinky at all, but holy fuck is it a good piece of media about losing the sense of self.

@emilyenco Yeah, it is shocking reading the responses to it. I first read it before I knew much of the controversy, and it's clear to me that the depth was lost on many people because of this extremist inattention and lack of care that so many of us inhabit. Nuance is hard to get right and brittle for dismissal under anger.

@emilyenco It's an extremely realist story. It did not mince words. It demanded your attention and focus, to connect and empathize. If you did you could see past party lines with it, and I think this power is eminently visible.
