Fwiw matrix really does not have a problem with a server just disappearing. Media from it won't be there anymore, but the keys your server has are, as per the spec, only cached for your domain for a MAXIMUM of 7 days. after that the domain is clean and good to go again, though ofc there's gonna be some issues around existing MXIDs in existing rooms


but that shouldn't be a concern for you if you don't plan to bring it back up. You can just let it rest
