shitposting @star you're running gnome-keyring, what desktop environment and display manager are you running that under?

depending on your answer you may need to verify that a certain process is started by the display manager to pass the password from it to gnome-keyring, or alternatively just clearing out the keyring password entirely

you could also consider going for an entirely different keyring / Secret Service Portal Provider like KWallet or oo7
