that doesnt mean that in many edge cases it wont break worse than the standard way to do it it lol

if you did sudo bash on my server for example it would just tell you that it doesnt know what a bash is
ssh root@::1 whoami >root

For the best experience you can upload an image with your favorit root shell to docker hub and use this anywhere. /hj
screenshot of my shell that uses docker to gain root on the system with: docker run -v /:/host -it archlinux chroot /host whoami

linux @sa7dse @alina @kitten @star @elsa okay and this is why they say you should not give lowly users permission to use docker as the docker daemon runs as root ;)
by default docker is restricted to root users.

oh hey what's that? podman supports rootless containers?
