@jwalzer@sodiboo@jessew@l The way that you say "slop" makes it sound like as soon as there is AI involved, there is zero real thought or work behind it any longer. It doesn't matter if someone produces an image themselves by banging their head against inkscape or a prompt. It's not like AI was used to fake an artist's skillset with a pencil or paintbrush and sell it as their own skill. Would the image be more respectable if there was human written latex/typst code behind it, although it's not about how the image is made but about the point or joke it tries to convey? As a result, your comment comes across as very disparaging, intrusive, and hostile.

No need to discuss this any more. But this very image makes absolutely no semantic sense and that’s what’s pointing me to the assumption of an AI generated slop image … either that or simply someone who doesn’t care or doesn’t know what she is talking about
@jwalzer@sodiboo@jessew@l Ok, i apologize if i over-interpreted that. Maybe i am a bit too sensitive because i experience nearly every day that people jump to the conclusion that some content as a whole is BS when it only contains some small parts that are visibly AI.

I didn‘t know the original image that @sodiboo used for that, but I also never said is IS AI but it „probably“ is …. In the end it’s a proof that you can manually create images that look like ai generated nonsense
