Plurality support as a first-class feature is, to me, non-negotiable. It is, to me, fact that a protocol genuinely trying to be a good and modern alternative to existing software must be as accessible as possible. And, as is usually the case, singlets also massively benefit from plurality support, as having the ability to have multiple views of the same person is a social concept so tightly engrained into our societies that we don't even think about it anymore. And people are just now starting to realize that, actually, it's quite nice to expose a different profile to family vs. to close friends vs. your employer.
