And I love the display of allowing forgiveness; the juxtaposition of demonstrating the unspeakable horrors that, for example, Jax inflicted upon others, while at the same time making you empathize and feel extremely bad for him. Because... he himself suffered endlessly, as a product of the grotesque and immense suffering he went through.
And it is being made very clear that this doesn't excuse the things he did, while demonstrating he is still worthy of being treated with respectful kindness, empathy and compassion, as much as the other characters are capable of demonstrating these qualities, and as every human being deserves.
As painful as this all was to take in at times, it was quite likely the most beautiful and just significant piece of media I have yet had the pleasure of experiencing myself.
