If you keep saying good UI is “intuitive”, the only 2 options you give people for reckoning with an unfamiliar pattern is either thinking they simply must not possess the shared, basic human intuition required to understand it, or that the pattern sucks.
There are no intuitive interfaces. They’re either familiar or different, and different can be better. It’s OK to learn.
