Do these solar panels have the kinds of controllers that make this safe?

@astraluma Well they do usually come with an inverter which makes this safe. If you don't have an inverter you can't do this

@star solar always requires an inverter, since PV natively makes DC

But you need a wave-following inverter, so you don't fight mains. And one that does nothing if no mains.

My gut reaction was to compare them to these double plug cables, which are Bad.
