capitalism@star That, but also, company has a degree of control over how much of that behaviour it does and its willingness to do it can be a sign of less or more decent leadership and reliability.
capitalism@flesh yes but too often the only point of action from anything is "lets go to this company instead" as if any vc funded or publicly traded company is forced by law to do whatever it takes to maximize profits and revenue
