ai slop@star the only thing i wish (r)age had is a askpass prompt and key caching (as in...you don't have to enter the passwd every time, you have a grace period of 5 mins) like gpg. it's all that i also need... otherwise. it's a solid alternative to gpg :D
re: ai slop@thing@star i think rage does have the password prompter, just checked it out upon hearing the sad news about age and it opened pinentry-gtk2
re: ai slop@thing@star i haven't tried yet but since it very likely uses the systemwide pinentry instead of guessing the prompt style on its own, i'm sure it wouldn't be hard to redirect it to a tui pinentry prompt
the issue in aerc where the tui/cli pinentry is broken will still likely remain though
