@rachaelspooky It is an identity and trusted data federation protocol. It's first goal is to make for a federation UX solving problems critters actually have (like migrating accounts without losing their posts/messages), and also making for such a seamless experience that, if I eventually build a Discord-like around it, it just works and is as grandparent-proof as possible
